Open Roblox
Join a game that supports voice chat
Enter the game
Open the Roblox menu (usually the three dots or menu button)
Select Settings
Go to Voice Chat
Turn Voice Chat On
Choose your input device (microphone) if prompted
Adjust microphone volume/input level if needed
Click Apply or Save (if shown)
Confirm your microphone permission is enabled in your device settings (Windows/macOS/mobile)
In Windows: Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Allow access for Roblox
In Windows: Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Allow desktop apps to access microphone (if applicable)
Restart Roblox if the microphone doesn’t work
If voice chat still doesn’t show, leave the game and rejoin or try another voice-enabled game
If you’re in a child account, check that voice chat is permitted in account privacy/permissions
