Power the block the redstone torch is attached to
Place redstone dust or a powered component next to the torch’s block
Use a lever, button, or other redstone source to power the torch’s support block
Connect the torch to a powered redstone circuit
Remove the torch’s support block and replace it with a powered block
Use a redstone comparator or repeater setup to provide power to the torch’s block
