Open Chrome
Click the three-dot menu
Go to Settings
Click Search engine
Set your preferred search engine
Click Manage search engines and site search
Remove Yahoo from the search engine list if possible
Go to On startup
Remove any Yahoo startup pages
Go to Appearance
Check the Home button and remove any Yahoo URL
Go to Extensions
Remove any suspicious or unwanted extensions
Reset Chrome settings
Click Reset settings
Choose Restore settings to their original defaults
Restart Chrome
If Yahoo still appears, uninstall suspicious programs from your computer
Check your browser shortcuts and remove any Yahoo URL from the target path
