Back up all important data
Charge the device battery
Enable Developer Options
Turn on OEM unlocking
Turn on USB debugging
Install the device USB drivers on your computer
Install platform-tools on your computer
Connect the device to the computer with a USB cable
Open a command prompt or terminal in the platform-tools folder
Verify the device is detected
Reboot the device to bootloader or fastboot mode
Run the bootloader unlock command for your device
Confirm the unlock on the device screen
Wait for the device to erase data and reboot
Set up the device again after the reset
Reinstall apps and restore your backup
