Enter the correct owner password if prompted
Use the editor’s security or protection settings
Select the option to remove password protection or restrictions
Save the PDF as a new file
If you do not know the password, ask the file owner for an unlocked copy
If the PDF is your own file, use the original source document to create a new unprotected PDF
