Check whether your email service has an Undo Send option
Open your email settings and enable Undo Send if available
After sending, click Undo immediately if the option appears
In Gmail, use the Undo button within the cancellation period
In Outlook, use Recall This Message if both accounts are on Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft 365
In Apple Mail, use Undo Send if you are using a supported version
If recall is not available, send a follow-up email asking the recipient to disregard the message
If the email contained sensitive information, change passwords or contact your IT team if needed
For future emails, delay sending by a few seconds or minutes to allow time to cancel
