Open Facebook Messenger or the Facebook app
Open the chat containing the message
Press and hold the message you want to remove
Tap Remove or More options
Select Unsend for everyone
Confirm the action
Note that you can only unsend messages within a limited time after sending
Note that the other person may still have seen or saved the message before you unsent it
