Open Microsoft Teams
Select your profile picture in the top right
Click Check for updates
Wait for Teams to download and install updates
Restart Microsoft Teams if prompted
If using the desktop app and no update option appears, close Teams completely and reopen it
On Windows, you can also update Teams through Microsoft Store if installed from there
On Mac, update Teams through Microsoft AutoUpdate if available
On mobile, update Teams from the App Store or Google Play Store
If Teams is managed by your organization, contact your IT administrator for update settings
