Open WhatsApp
Go to the Status tab
Tap My Status or the camera icon
Take a photo or video, or select one from your gallery
Add text, drawings, or stickers if needed
Tap Send or the green arrow
To post text only, tap the pencil icon in Status
Type your status and tap Send
To update privacy, open Status privacy settings before posting
