Back up important files
Check that your PC meets Windows 11 system requirements
Open Settings
Go to Update & Security
Click Windows Update
Click Check for updates
Download and install the Windows 11 upgrade if it appears
Restart your PC when prompted
If the upgrade does not appear, use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant from Microsoft
Download the Installation Assistant
Run the tool and follow the prompts
Accept the license terms
Let the installation complete
Restart your PC after installation
Sign in and finish any setup steps
Check for additional updates after upgrading
