Remove the valve cap
Identify the valve type
If needed, unscrew the valve locknut slightly
Attach the pump head to the valve
Lock the pump head in place
Pump air into the tire
Check the tire pressure if the pump has a gauge
Stop pumping when the tire reaches the recommended pressure
Unlock and remove the pump head
Tighten the valve locknut if applicable
Replace the valve cap
