Fill the water tank with fresh water and place it back securely
Turn on the machine and let it heat up
Insert the portafilter into the group head if using ground coffee
Add the correct amount of ground espresso coffee to the filter basket
Tamp the coffee evenly and firmly
Lock the portafilter into place
Place a cup under the coffee spouts
Select the espresso or coffee function
Start the extraction
Stop the shot when the desired amount is reached
Steam or froth milk using the steam wand if needed
Purge the steam wand after use
Remove and empty the used coffee puck
Rinse the portafilter and basket
Empty and clean the drip tray regularly
Descale the machine when needed
Turn off the machine after use
