Start with clean, towel-dried hair
Detangle hair thoroughly
Apply heat protectant
Attach the desired styling barrel, brush, or dryer attachment
Select the appropriate heat and airflow setting
Use the pre-styling dryer attachment if hair is very wet
Section hair into manageable parts
Hold a small section of hair near the barrel

Move the device slowly toward the roots if needed
Hold briefly to style the section
Use the cool shot to set the style
Release the curl or wave gently
Repeat on all sections
Switch to a smoothing brush attachment for straightening
Use the round brush attachment for volume and shape
Finish with a cool shot or light styling product if desired
Turn off the device and unplug it after use
Clean the filter regularly
