Use ant baits (place along ant trails and near nests)
Keep baits away from children and pets
Replace baits when they run out and allow time for colonies to die off

Apply residual insecticide along baseboards, cracks, and entry points (follow label directions)
Use bait stations for indoor use; avoid spraying indoors when possible
For outdoor nests, apply a labeled ant treatment directly to the nest area
If ants are nesting indoors, locate the nest or main entry and target that area
Consider professional pest control if ants persist or nests are large
Contact a pest professional if you see winged ants, multiple colonies, or repeated re-infestation
