Cut the lemon in half
Place one lemon half cut-side down into the squeezer
Hold the squeezer over a bowl, cup, or container
Press the handles together firmly
Let the juice flow out through the holes or openings
Remove the squeezed lemon half
Repeat with the other half if needed
Discard seeds and pulp if desired
Rinse the squeezer after use
