Wash or sanitize your hands

Unfold the protector if needed
Place the protector over the toilet seat with the opening aligned to the front
Smooth it flat so it covers the seat evenly
Sit down carefully, keeping the protector in place
After use, remove the protector without touching the used surface
Dispose of the protector in a trash bin
Wash or sanitize your hands again
