Plug the Chromecast into your TV’s HDMI port
Connect the Chromecast to power
Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input
Download and open the Google Home app on your phone or tablet
Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want Chromecast to use
Follow the Google Home app instructions to set up the Chromecast
Open a supported app on your phone, tablet, or computer
Tap the Cast icon
Select your Chromecast device
Start playing the content you want to watch or listen to
Use your phone, tablet, or computer to control playback
To stop casting, tap the Cast icon again and disconnect
