File off the shiny top coat with a coarse nail file
Soak cotton balls in acetone
Place the soaked cotton on each nail
Wrap each fingertip tightly with aluminum foil
Wait 15 to 20 minutes
Check one nail and gently lift softened product with a cuticle pusher
Rewrap and soak again if the product is still firm
Repeat until the Gel X softens and comes off
Gently buff away remaining residue
Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or hand cream
Do not force or peel the nails off
Stop if you feel pain or see damage to the natural nail
