File the top coat gently with a nail file or buffer
Soak cotton pads in acetone
Place the soaked cotton pads on each nail
Wrap each fingertip with foil or use nail clips
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Check if the gel varnish is lifting
Gently push off the softened gel with a cuticle pusher or orangewood stick
Re-soak any remaining areas if needed
Buff away leftover residue
Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or moisturizer
