Put on gloves and work in a well-ventilated area
Test the removal method on a small hidden area first
Dampen a soft cloth with isopropyl alcohol or denatured alcohol
Rub the shellac polish gently until it softens and lifts
Wipe away the loosened polish with a clean cloth
Repeat with fresh alcohol as needed
Use a plastic scraper for stubborn spots, if necessary
Clean the surface with mild soap and water after removal
Dry the surface completely
Lightly sand the area if residue remains
Dispose of used cloths safely, away from heat or flames
