File the shiny top coat lightly
Soak cotton pads in acetone
Place the soaked cotton on each nail
Wrap each fingertip with foil
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Gently push off the softened gel polish with a cuticle pusher
Re-soak any remaining polish if needed
Buff away residue lightly
Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or moisturizer
