File the top coat of the artificial nails to break the seal
Protect the skin around your nails with petroleum jelly or cuticle oil
Soak cotton balls in acetone
Place one soaked cotton ball on each nail
Wrap each fingertip tightly with aluminum foil or use nail clips
Leave on for 10 to 20 minutes
Check one nail to see if the product is lifting
Gently push off the softened artificial nail with a cuticle pusher or orange stick
Rewrap and soak any nails that are still firm
Buff away remaining residue lightly
Wash your hands with soap and water
Apply cuticle oil and hand cream after removal
