Gently file the shiny top coat with a nail file
Soak cotton balls in acetone
Place the soaked cotton on each nail
Wrap each fingertip with aluminum foil or use nail clips
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Check one nail and gently push off softened gel with a cuticle pusher
Rewrap and soak longer if the gel is still firm
Buff away any remaining residue lightly
Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or moisturizer
Do not peel or force the gel off
Stop if you feel pain or notice nail damage
