Trim the nails as short as possible
File off the top shiny layer of the dip powder
Soak cotton balls in acetone
Place the acetone-soaked cotton on each nail
Wrap each fingertip tightly with aluminum foil or nail clips
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Remove the foil or clips
Gently push off the softened dip powder with a cuticle pusher
Re-soak any remaining product if needed
Lightly buff the nails to remove residue
Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or moisturizer
