Start with clean, slightly damp or dry hair
Detangle hair thoroughly
Apply heat protectant if using heated rollers
Section hair into small, even parts
Roll each section from the ends toward the scalp
Secure each roller in place
Repeat until all sections are rolled
Leave rollers in until hair is fully set
Remove rollers gently, one at a time
Separate curls with fingers if desired
Finish with hairspray if needed
