Take the emergency contraceptive pill as soon as possible after unprotected sex
Follow the instructions on the package or from a pharmacist or doctor
Swallow the pill with water
If you vomit within 2 hours of taking it, contact a pharmacist or doctor
Do not use it as a regular birth control method
Use condoms or another contraceptive method after taking it
Take a pregnancy test if your period is more than 7 days late
Seek medical advice if you have severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, or other concerning symptoms
