Place the beacon on top of a solid pyramid made of iron, gold, diamond, emerald, or netherite blocks
Build a pyramid with 1 to 4 layers to unlock beacon powers
Ensure the beacon has a clear view of the sky
Open the beacon interface by right-clicking or tapping the beacon
Insert one payment item such as iron ingot, gold ingot, emerald, diamond, or netherite ingot
Choose a primary power from the available options
Select regeneration, speed, haste, jump boost, resistance, or strength depending on pyramid size
Confirm the selection to activate the beacon
Use the secondary power option when the pyramid has 4 layers
Feed the beacon more payment items to change powers later
Keep the beacon within range of the pyramid to maintain its effects
Rebuild or expand the pyramid if the beacon is not activating
Remove blocks above the beacon if the sky is blocked
Use multiple beacons with larger pyramids for additional effects
