Blot excess stain with a clean cloth or paper towel
Place a clean cloth or paper towel under the stained area
Remove the cap from the Tide pen
Press the tip onto a hidden area first to test for colorfastness
Gently rub the pen tip over the stain
Squeeze the pen lightly if needed to release more solution
Continue until the stain is covered
Blot the area with a damp cloth
Repeat as needed
Wash the item as soon as possible
Replace the cap after use
Store the Tide pen upright and out of reach of children
