If traveling by flight, fly from Delhi to Dehradun Airport
If traveling by bus, take an overnight bus from Delhi to Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Sonprayag
From Dehradun, Haridwar, or Rishikesh, travel by taxi or bus to Sonprayag
From Sonprayag, take a local shuttle to Gaurikund
Start the trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath
Complete the trek on foot or hire a pony, mule, or palanquin
Stay overnight at Kedarnath if needed
Return by trekking back to Gaurikund
Travel from Gaurikund to Sonprayag by shuttle
Continue by taxi or bus to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun, or Delhi
Visit during the official pilgrimage season
Check weather, road, and temple opening updates before departure
Carry valid ID, warm clothes, rain protection, and necessary medicines
Book transport and accommodation in advance during peak season
