Check the care label before washing
Brush off loose dirt and lint
Spot clean small stains with a damp cloth and mild detergent
Empty all pockets and close buttons or zippers
Turn the coat inside out
Fill a basin or tub with cold water
Add a small amount of wool-safe detergent
Submerge the coat gently and soak briefly
Swish lightly without rubbing or twisting
Rinse with cold water until detergent is removed
Press out excess water without wringing
Roll the coat in a clean towel to absorb moisture
Lay the coat flat on a dry towel or drying rack
Reshape the coat while damp
Keep it away from direct heat and sunlight
Let it air dry completely
Brush the coat lightly after drying if needed
