Use a waterproofing product made for leather, such as beeswax, wax-based cream, or a leather waterproofing spray
Test the product on a small hidden area first
Apply the waterproofing product evenly over the entire boot
Pay extra attention to seams, stitching, and flex points
Let the product absorb or dry according to the label instructions
Apply a second coat if recommended
Buff the boots lightly if using wax or cream
Reapply waterproofing regularly, especially after heavy use or wet conditions
Avoid using products not meant for leather, such as silicone sprays on unfinished leather unless approved by the manufacturer
Store boots in a cool, dry place when not in use
