Remove and store water filters
Remove and store the battery if applicable
Disconnect shore power
Charge and maintain the battery
Clean the RV interior
Remove food and perishables
Empty the refrigerator and freezer
Defrost and clean the refrigerator
Prop open refrigerator and freezer doors
Seal entry points against pests
Close and latch all windows and vents
Cover tires or move the RV to a protected area
Inflate tires to proper pressure
Lubricate seals and hinges
Inspect the roof for leaks
Cover the RV if appropriate
