Turn the thermostat ring to wake the display

Use Eco mode to save energy when away
Check the display for current temperature and target temperature
Open the Nest app to control the thermostat remotely
Use the app to change settings, schedules, and modes
Connect the thermostat to Wi-Fi during setup
Link it to your Google account if prompted
Use voice control with compatible smart assistants
Review energy history in the app
Replace or charge batteries if the model requires it
Restart the thermostat from settings if it is unresponsive
Remove the thermostat from the base only when needed for installation or troubleshooting
