Install Adobe Illustrator on the SSD
Set the SSD as the primary drive for Adobe apps
Set Illustrator scratch disk location to the SSD
Move active project files to the SSD
Save working files directly on the SSD
Store fonts and linked assets on the SSD
Set the SSD as the default location for temp files if possible
Keep at least 20% of the SSD free space
Use the SSD for cache and preview files
Avoid working from a nearly full SSD
Back up SSD files regularly
Use an external SSD if internal space is limited
