Unplug the extension cord
Hold both ends together
Form a large loop with the cord
Continue looping the cord in the same direction
Keep the loops even and untwisted
Leave a small amount of slack at the ends
Secure the wrapped cord with a Velcro strap, twist tie, or built-in wrap
Store the cord in a dry place
