Shut down the computer
Turn it on
Press F8 repeatedly before Windows starts loading
Select Safe Mode from the Advanced Boot Options menu
Press Enter
If using Windows 10 or 11
Open Settings
Go to Update & Security
Select Recovery
Under Advanced startup, click Restart now
Choose Troubleshoot
Choose Advanced options
Choose Startup Settings
Click Restart
Press 4 or F4 for Safe Mode
Press 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking
Press 6 or F6 for Safe Mode with Command Prompt
If the computer cannot start normally
Turn the computer on and off three times during startup
Wait for Automatic Repair to appear
Choose Advanced options
Choose Troubleshoot
Choose Advanced options
Choose Startup Settings
Click Restart
Press 4 or F4 for Safe Mode
