Provide a secure enclosure with proper ventilation

Remove uneaten insects after feeding
Monitor body condition and weight regularly
Handle gently and support the body fully
Limit handling during shedding or stress
Clean the enclosure regularly
Spot clean waste as needed
Replace and disinfect decor and hides periodically
Provide low-stress enrichment and hiding places
Watch for signs of illness such as lethargy, weight loss, lack of appetite, or abnormal shedding
Seek a reptile veterinarian for health concerns
Keep the gecko away from other pets that may stress or injure it
Maintain a day-night light cycle
Avoid bright lighting unless needed for the enclosure setup
Quarantine new reptiles before introducing them to any shared area
