Unplug the mouse or turn it off
Remove the batteries if it is wireless
Wipe the exterior with a dry microfiber cloth
Dampen a cloth with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol
Clean the top, sides, and bottom of the mouse
Use a cotton swab to clean around buttons and seams
Remove debris from the sensor area with a dry cotton swab
Clean the scroll wheel with a cotton swab
Use compressed air to blow out dust from crevices
Let the mouse dry completely before using it again
Clean the mouse pad separately if needed
