Turn on the Xbox Series X
Turn on the controller by pressing the Xbox button
If the controller is new or not paired, press and hold the Pair button on the console until the light flashes
Press and hold the Pair button on the controller until the Xbox button flashes rapidly
Wait for the controller and console lights to stop flashing and stay solid
If using a USB-C cable, connect the controller to the console with the cable and press the Xbox button
If the controller does not connect, replace the batteries or charge the controller
If needed, restart the console and try pairing again
