Tap the Home icon at the top of the screen
Press the Kindle’s Home button if your model has one
Swipe down from the top and select Home
Press the Back button until you return to the Home screen
Tap the screen to show the toolbar, then tap Home
On some models, press the power button briefly to wake the device, then tap Home
