Season meat or fish and cook until tender
Heat palm oil in a pot
Add chopped onions and fry briefly
Add blended pepper and tomato mixture
Cook until the sauce thickens and the oil begins to separate
Add the ground egusi gradually while stirring
Let the egusi cook and form lumps or thicken the soup
Add stock or water to adjust the consistency
Add cooked meat, fish, or stockfish
Add crayfish and seasoning cubes
Add vegetables such as ugu, bitter leaf, or spinach
Stir and cook for a few more minutes
Taste and adjust seasoning
Serve hot with pounded yam, fufu, eba, or rice
