Whisk in 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Cook for 1 minute
Add 2 tablespoons chili powder
Add 1 teaspoon ground cumin
Add 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Add 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Add 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Add 1/4 teaspoon salt
Slowly whisk in 2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
Add 2 tablespoons tomato paste
Bring to a simmer
Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, whisking occasionally, until thickened
Adjust seasoning with more salt if needed
Use immediately or cool and store for later
