Open Facebook and log in
Tap your profile picture or menu icon
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Settings
Open Privacy Checkup
Set Who can see your future posts to Friends or Only me
Set Who can see your friends list to Only me
Set Who can see your profile information to Friends or Only me
Set Who can send you friend requests to Friends of friends
Set Who can look you up using your email address to Friends or Only me
Set Who can look you up using your phone number to Friends or Only me
Turn off search engine linking to your profile
Review and limit past posts
Change post audience for old posts to Friends or Only me
Hide your profile from public search as much as possible
Review your profile details and remove anything you do not want public
Check Timeline and Tagging settings
Set tag review options to On
Set who can post on your timeline to Only me or Friends
Limit who can see posts you are tagged in
Block or restrict specific people if needed
