Wash your hands and clean the glasses
Place the glasses on a soft cloth
Identify the frame type
For plastic frames, gently warm the frame if needed
For screw-in frames, locate the small screws on the inner edge
Use a small eyeglass screwdriver to loosen the screws
Hold the frame steady while loosening the screws
Remove the screws completely if necessary
Gently push the lens out from the back side
For rimless glasses, remove the screws or nuts holding the lens
For metal frames with a spring hinge, open the temple arms fully
Flex the frame slightly only if needed and only gently
Remove one lens at a time
Store the screws and parts safely
Avoid forcing the lens out
If the lens will not come out easily, take the glasses to an optician
