Find a horse in a plains, savanna, or meadow biome
Make sure you have empty hands
Right-click or tap the horse to mount it
Keep getting back on after it bucks you off
Wait until hearts appear
Open the horse inventory and equip a saddle
Use a lead if you want to move it easily
Feed it apples, wheat, sugar, hay bales, or golden apples to help breed or heal it
