Find an armor trim smithing template
Gather the required trim material
Gather the armor piece you want to customize
Open a smithing table
Place the armor trim template in the template slot
Place the armor piece in the armor slot
Place the trim material in the material slot
Take the trimmed armor from the result slot
Repeat with other armor pieces if desired
Use different trim materials and templates to change the look
