Open the spam email in Gmail
Click the three-dot menu in the top right of the message
Select Block sender
Mark unwanted emails as Spam
Open the email
Click the Report spam icon or select Report spam from the menu
Unsubscribe from legitimate mailing lists you no longer want
Open the email
Click Unsubscribe at the bottom if available
Create a filter for specific senders or keywords
In Gmail, click the search options icon
Enter the sender, subject, or keywords
Click Create filter
Choose Delete it or Skip the Inbox
Use the Blocked addresses settings to review blocked senders
Go to Gmail Settings
Open See all settings
Check Filters and Blocked Addresses
Keep your Gmail address private to reduce spam
Avoid signing up for untrusted websites
Do not reply to spam emails
Do not click suspicious links or attachments
