Check your motherboard compatibility and available PCIe slot
Verify your power supply wattage and required PCIe power connectors
Measure your case clearance for GPU length, width, and thickness
Confirm your CPU and RAM are sufficient for the new GPU
Back up important data
Download the latest GPU drivers for your new card
Uninstall the current NVIDIA drivers if needed
Power off the PC and unplug it
Open the case and remove the old GPU
Install the new NVIDIA GPU into the PCIe x16 slot
Secure the card with screws or brackets
Connect all required power cables to the GPU
Close the case and reconnect power
Boot the system and install or update NVIDIA drivers
Restart the PC after driver installation
Verify the GPU is detected in Device Manager or NVIDIA Control Panel
Test the system for stability and temperatures
