Turn off the RCA tablet
Press and hold the Power button and Volume Up button at the same time
Release the buttons when the RCA logo appears
Use the volume buttons to highlight Recovery mode
Press the Power button to select it
When the Android robot or recovery menu appears, press and hold the Power button, then press Volume Up once
Use the volume buttons to highlight Wipe data/factory reset
Press the Power button to select it
Highlight Yes or Factory data reset
Press the Power button to confirm
Select Reboot system now
Press the Power button to restart the tablet
If the tablet is unresponsive, hold the Power button for 10 to 15 seconds to force a restart
If needed, use a paperclip to press the reset pinhole on the tablet
If the tablet is locked and you cannot access recovery, perform a factory reset from the recovery menu only
