Clean the puja area and place a clean cloth on the altar
Put an idol or picture of Goddess Lakshmi on the altar
Place a kalash with water, mango leaves, and a coconut if available
Keep rice, flowers, incense sticks, diya, turmeric, kumkum, and sweets ready
Light the diya and incense sticks
Offer water to the deity
Apply turmeric and kumkum to the idol or picture
Offer flowers at the feet of Goddess Lakshmi
Place rice and coins near the idol or picture
Offer fruits, sweets, and dry fruits
Chant Lakshmi mantras or pray to Goddess Lakshmi
Perform aarti with the lit diya
Distribute prasad after the puja
Keep the puja area clean and respectful after completion
